The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) in Toronto has partnered with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Minneapolis Institute of Art to create Guillermo del Toro: At Home with Monsters. The exhibit contains a range of media, such as costumes, photography, painting, sculptures etc., that have inspired filmmaker Guillermo del Toro’s work. The exhibit’s only Canadian appearance is currently running at the AGO from September 30, 2017-January 7, 2018. To celebrate, the AGO will present two late-night film series at Jackman Hall Cinema:
The Films of Guillermo del Toro: Five of del Toro’s key films will be screened from October 11-November 24, 2017.
Nightmare on Dundas Street Movie Night: 10 of the most terrifying films of all time, hand-picked by del Toro himself, will be screened every Friday at 10 p.m. from October 6-December 8, 2017.
