On TIFF 2018’s last night, Short Cuts Programme 07 will be screening seven short films, each less than 50 minutes long. The characters find creative ways to deal with unexpected situations, from comic to scary/tragic, like the short film Exit.
Run Time: 15 Minutes
Morning routines, healthy mother daughter relationships, daily living and self-imposed isolation while battling a potentially fatal health scare. These are the short’s subject matters. The film itself is about a topic that’s rarely discussed in our society; the convergence of illness, dignity, and death. The short film is highly emotional and the content can be triggering for those who have witnessed loved ones battle terrible illnesses or have endured the struggle themselves.
You can catch the shorts tonight Sunday September 16, tickets are available at TIFF.net.
