TIFF was accompanied this year by The Turkish Film industry in the form of the inaugural Turks at TIFF showcase. While not officially associated with TIFF, Turkish films were screened in Toronto cinemas along with lectures, concerts, and other events from September 11-16, 2015. Cine in Style contributor Nekisha Mcleod had the pleasure of watching and reviewing The Fish in Me by Ertan Velimatti Alagöz, a movie which proves that Turkish films more than belong at future TIFF events.
